    For sale is the Vatican City 1959 mint set celebrating "Year I" of the pontificate of John XXIII (1958-1963).  This is official coinage of the Vatican City. The mint set is composed of 8 coins, which are 1, 2, 5, 10 Lire of Italma [the alloy], 20 Lire of Bronzital [the alloy], 50 and 100 lire of Acmonital [the alloy], and 500 Lire of Silver.
    It was issued with a mintage of 25,000.  The catalog number for the set is KM#MS61.  Condition is uncirculated.
